OVERVIEW

During my Semester 4, I collaborated with three other team members to develop a PC game that focused on the theme of "Health". Our task was to showcase our individual skills and ideas by designing one level each within the game. The objective of the game is to educate players about making healthier choices, such as selecting yogurt instead of ice cream or choosing apples over lollipops. Through gameplay, players can understand the benefits of these healthier options and the consequences of selecting unhealthy ones.

In this project, I was responsible for :

  • Level construction and programmed the Collecting Strawberries minigame(Healthbar/Strawberries collected UI/Minimap/Candies effect healthbar)
  • Scripting for overall gameplay sequences such as interactive cut scenes, dialogues box and integrated the other two minigames
  • Designed all the UI dialogues and the cut scenes
  • Applied the Sound Effects and Music in the game
  • Designed the project's logo and poster
